The season has begun! The town we play in kicks off the season with a parade! Each team makes a float and throws candy out. Lilly threw out all her candy before she got to us but she was so cute on the float waving to everyone. Tyler was very cute chewing his gum and throwing out his candy. It was really cool that their floats were right behind each other.
The games were good. Lilly’s game was first and very interesting. T-ball is very funny watching the kids get bored, playing in the dirt or just sitting down. Lilly had good hits, but her next game was better. She hit really well and caught a few balls. She even made an out (they don’t count in T-ball). Lilly and her fellow girl team mate had an argument with a boy on second base about who was out them or him (he was the runner and they did not have the ball).
Tyler lost his first game. He only batted once and struck out. He had a good catch in the outfield. His next game was much better. They won! Tyler had two good hits and a good catch and throw from the outfield. The coach gave a game ball for how well he played. My family was very excited and cheered loudly. We practice when we can, it has been a bit rainy here this year. I am managing pretty well with two schedules, it can be tiring but it is so much fun.
